I love this Kitchenaid product. we have other Kitchenaid products and have been very pleased with them, so we went to their food processor because of the previous experience, dependability, durability, quality of product and performance. It is so easy to use and makes each job go so much faster and smoother. I love baking better than cooking and making the dough for pizza, cookies, etc is a breeze. thanks for making it so easy to get this product and making it more financially easier to obtain. We know this processor will
last for a long time.

OK, first let me begin by saying this was my first excursion into the world of food processors, with the tiny (regrettable) exception of some sort of off-the-wall wannabe chopper-ette thingy back in the early 80s that is really best forgotten... However, said chopper soured my opinion on food processors in general for two-plus decades. Couldn't imagine the time savings of the processing itself being worth the clean-up afterwards. Boy, was I WRONG! This baby is the greatest thing since sliced bread! Stuff that used to take me forever gets done in literally seconds. Want to make hash browns? The shredded kind, where it's such a pain to grate the potatoes? Throw them in this baby & you're ready to go in less than a minute. I hardly ever made fried rice (probably only around twice a month, which is the same thing as 'hardly ever' to a 17-yr-old male who would live on the stuff if you'd let him), 'cause all the slicing, cutting & chopping of veggies took longer than the actual cooking process - especially chopping fresh garlic, which I HATE to do - but with this thing I've got it all done & ready to go in just a couple minutes. A batch of salsa takes no time at all.

The clean-up is really not that bad, either. I usually wash mine by hand, but it's dishwasher safe, so if I use it for meat products, I can throw it in there & know it's getting hot enough to kill the germs. I love that it has a separate box for the blades & stuff; it makes it really easy to find everything. In short, it just plain ROCKS!

The only thing I couldn't say anything about is its bread-kneading capabilities; haven't tried that yet. I always make it by hand (there's something so soothing about kneading dough that I've just never been able to go machine on that process). I suppose there could be a situation where I'd be pressed for time - or maybe just overcome with curiosity - when I'd try it out, but it hasn't happened yet. However, Consumer Reports said it was one of the few models that could handle it & they're usually right on the money.

Bottom line: if you're in the market for a food processor that will handle just about anything, this here hoss is it!

Review: Best food processor ever!

I've gone through several food processors in the past few years, and this is by far the best I have ever used. The 12 cup capacity is the perfect size in my opinion: it's large enough to puree large batches of soups, but small enough to be practical to mince up a few cloves of garlic (especially with the mini bowl attachment).

I haven't found anything this device can't do. I've liquefied onions for sauces, pureed soups, made doughs, etc, and this thing has taken care of them all. The only downside is that this base of the device is pretty darn hefty...but of course it probably has to be to house a motor this powerful. I used to drag it out of the cabinets each time I needed it, but now I just keep it out on my counter--it's pretty enough to be on display, and useful enough to make its presence there practical.

Our previous machine (recently purchased but smaller in size) could not handle pureeing the cauliflower, cream and butter mixture. Bits of cauliflower remained unprocessed giving us "lumpy mashed". This Kitchenaid does the job admirably. We can see the quality that went into this machine and are very happy with our purchase.

ok, I guess I should say that I love my food processor. I use it many times a week and have discovered the glories of making homemade all-fruit sorbet. Really delightful for someone who can't have sugar and thought that yummy frozen treats were lost to her. BUT I find myself wishing that I had bought the cuisinart instead. While the bowl capacity on the Kitchenaid looks huge, in reality I'm only able to fill it less than half full with liquid. That's kind of bothersome when trying to make large batches of hummus or sublime mango sorbet. It's no problem if all I'm doing is slicing peppers but I'm usually using my food processor to deal with more wet ingredients. It's better than my mini chop but I do wish that I was able to use more of the bowl capacity.

Certainly one outstanding recommendation for the Kitchenaid is the company's customer service (as mentioned in other reviews I think). A mere month after purchasing my processor conked out. The mini blade on the chef's bowl became wedged somehow onto the stick (I have no idea what the technical term is). It shaved off some of the plastic from the lid and I had to use a pair of pliers to remove the blade. What was left was a chewed up plastic stub which made it impossible for any of the blades to lock into place. I was on the phone with Kitchenaid within a few minutes and the result was that I got a replacement food processor in the mail in a week! Pretty terrific, I must say.

It's a big beast and feels powerful. It's also quiet enough to be able to carry on a conversation while running. That's pretty cool too. The blades feel a bit flimsy but from what I have read that's pretty true of most food processors today, sadly. Get it, particularly if you find a good deal like I did on Amazon.

Review: Does liquids well
by: Michael J. Kleckner on date: April 4, 2007

->Prices KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

I've only had mine for a little over a week, but I've already used it for chopping, slicing, and lots of pureeing.

The unit is sturdily built, heavy and powerful, just as others describe.

But I want to comment on liquid jobs. If you are considering this unit for liquids, don't be scared off by the negative reviews. The shaft does indeed only rise halfway up in the bowl (this allows the minibowl and blade to sit on top/inside of the main bowl), so you cannot fill the unit to the top with liquid and expect it to be completely leak-free.

On the other hand, I've made mayonnaise, pureed for thin soup and made baba ganoush, and I did not end up with liquid/food all over the counter. I had barely a leak, and when I did, it was because I was stil learning the position the blade had to be in for removal, and so when it pulled off, a little leaked through the bowl hole.

It *is* important to not fill liquids too high, though this is true of any mixer/processor. Imagine trying to mix cake batter with a spoon in a bowl that you had filled too high -- stuff will fly out! The same is true of a processor.

However, that does not reduce it to a 4-cup capacity as someone claimed. I made a thin pureed soup and got more than 7 cups out of it. The bowl hole is about halfway up, so you won't get much more than that unless it's thick (like my baba ganoush).

Anyway, use some common sense and this excellent product will treat you fine. But if you need to be able to process 8 or 10 or more cups of thin liquid at a time, you need to buy a larger unit than this one.

->Lowest Price KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

I have watched Emeril and perhaps others using this food processor and ending up with liquid all over the counter. I just dismissed it as part of Emeril's shtick until I bought this machine for myself. The first time I tried to use it with any liquid ingredients (making mayonnaise), it blew much of the liquid through the joint between the top and the bowl. The top is just flawed in its design, as it would seem pretty obvious that the part of the top overlapping the side of the bowl should be on the inside rather than the outside of the bowl. I suppose it had not occurred to me that anyone would design the top in the way that KA did, much less that such a design flaw would be overlooked in so many reviews (e. g. Consumer Reports and Cook's Illustrated).

In any case, this machine is pretty much useless for wet ingredients and borderline for dry (they blow through the badly designed joint as well) unless you feel that wiping up a large part of your ingredients from the counter, the outside of the bowl, the bottom of the machine, and any items nearby is a reasonable thing to expect to do. I will probably get rid of the machine in some way and go back to the Cuisinart I have had for some time as it is a much better design in this regard.

I did have a little trouble figuring out which slicer was 2 mm and which was 4 mm...they aren't marked so you have to judge the thickness. ->Compare KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

I have never had a food processor before, but it seemed like half the recipes lately that looked interesting required pureeing something.
The first thing I learned was that you should have several things that you want to use this for when you get it out. The first time I tried it, to slice some potatoes, it took longer to set the machine up than to slice the potatoes!
Because several reviewers mentioned it, I tried using it to make cookie dough. It worked OK, but if that's the main thing you are planning to do, you'd probably be happier with a mixer.
I am very happy with the way it purees things (mostly for soups and sauces, but I've also used it to make falafel), but my absolutely favorite thing about it so far has been using the mini bowl to chop parsley. Chopping parsley by hand has always been way down on my list of things I like to do in the kitchen, and doing it with the food processor yielded finely chopped parsley almost instantly and with minimal mess. I envision more parsley in my future.

The bowl, top and plunger system developed stress fractures and cracks in less than a year of use. the polycoarbonate material they used in manufacturing is brittle. At the top of the bowl the fractures are such that it has made the use of the processer dangerous as I am afraid that pieces will break off and go into whatever Iam processing. I called the company and they said that parts would replaced if under a year old. I called just over a year as I had too many other things to do...I don't know if they will replace. I even offered to send the bowl so that they could see what the problem was. The replacement powls are about $40.00 plus shipping, so I am not happy that this might have to be a yearly thing. I had a Cuisinart before this (albeit an older one). This design is much better in several ways. The little bowl is big enough for most chopping jobs, so all you have to wash is the little bowl, the blade and the top -- much less dishwasher space than the one bowl kind. I had a little chopper and a 9 cup(?) before. The chopper was too small for most things and the 9c. was too big. The little bowl fits the bill very well for most jobs as I said. Second, the fact that you can have the machine running, and yet safely put in all different sizes of ingredients (as opposed to the top being interlocked) is really great. Much more flexible design. Third, the fittings come in a nice little box, with all the ones in there I'd really ever use. So safely stored, and conveniently accessed. Last, the bowls are thicker, so I suspect less likely to crack and craze than the old ones. So I recommend this product very enthusiastically.

This food processor is very powerful, easy to operate, has a convenient mini-bowl and blade for smaller tasks and comes with a great assortment of accessories and blades.

It's interesting to note that Kitchenaid uses the blade manufacturer that used to make the blades for the legendary Cuisinart food processors. In recent years however, Cuisinart started using another manufacturer and their quality has suffered as a result.

My reason for giving the KFP750 four stars are the that the feed tube is a bit small so a fair amount of pre-prepping has to be done to process larger items. Also, it does take some effort to get all the parts clean, particulary the work bowl and its cover. Although it may take just seconds to grate a large amount of cheese, the time saved is more than lost in the effort to clean the cheese from everything. I believe the KFP760 model addresses the feed tube problem, but I can't say if it addresses the cleaning issues.

The little plastic parts to the lid (the safety catch parts) to the old Cuisinart we used to have broke several times. The feeder tube doesn't have an annoying safety feature, just on the lid (and is designed in a way that it won't break). The feeder hole is smaller to keep it safe, but for those of us who use knives know how to cut smaller chunks, right? The motor is fairly quiet. I love it.

I had always used multi task type food processors in the past - those that come with a blender or mixer. Little did I know what I was misssing. This machine is strightforeward, without bells and whistles, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do - chop large quantities of almost anything into the size you want in record time.

I bought this as a present for myself with the intention of using it for cookie dough making. Well, that's not what I got! The info with the processor says it comes with a dough hook for mixing any dough, such as cookies, or breads. I tried using it for both and I am sadly dissapointed. The flour stays stuck all around the bowl and the hole in the middle is an irritation to clean when dough gets stuck inside. It doesn't mix the eggs in well, such as creaming all the ingredients. But, it does a heck of a job on chopping vegetables, or making cookie crumbs from the cookies I mixed BY HAND. I should have bought a much smaller processor for chopping and such, and then bought the stand mixer like I have wanted for years! Chad, if you read this, you gave me bad advice on this processor!!!!
Amazon, looks like you will be receiving my order for a big red mixer soon!

After making due with a blender for years, we finally decided to upgrade to a real honest to goodness food processor. My only regret is not doing it sooner. My pesto is smoother, my breadcrumbs are more uniform, and things just somehow magically taste better when using it.

The only drawback is that it's quite large and heavy, meaning you need some counter space.

We like it a lot. The feature with the small bowl within is very helpful many times when there is only something small, little to process. The kneading feature can only be used for very small quantities in our present experience. But we have not given upon that yet. It is an excellent machine!

After reading many reviews, I bought this food processor for my husband, for Christmas. He loves it! It works really fast, and is very quiet! Which really surprised him. So far, have only used it for soups. It seems to be made very well, nice and sturdy, and was shipped quickly. We are very happy with our purchase!

I've had this machine for about a year now. It is solid, strong and quiet. My previous food processor was so loud, my kids would scream from fear when I'd turn it on. Not this one.

It chops my liver and shreds potatoes to perfection. We even mixed cookie dough with it, using a receipe that came with the processor.

It is also very easy to clean. The base gets wiped, everything else goes into the dishwasher.

In short, it does everything that a food processor is supposed to do, and does it well.

->Comparison KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

I have had the 760 KitchenAid Food Processor for about a month now. It's my third Food Processor over a period of 25 years or so. My first was a Cuisinart which was a good enough machine that lasted many years, then just wore out. The second was a Black and Decker: much less expensive and boy, did it show. It was LOUD. It danced all over the counter, and worst of all, the plastic housing cracked at the places where the bowl snapped on, rendering the machine useless. So...after doing some research with Consumer Reports, which named KitchenAid as the best brand of the lot, I chose this one.
Honestly, the 12 cup size is bigger than I really need, as I only cook for three now. However, the attachments that come exclusively with this model, make me glad I chose it. I got an extra full sized bowl. This was great on Thanksgiving. I could process in the mini bowl, large bowl, and outer bowl without having to stop and wash bowls in between. Very handy!

I have never owned a stand mixer, so I love the egg whisk on this machine. It means I can whip egg whites stiffly to fold into cake batter without stopping to wash my handmixer beaters.
And...the citrus juicer. My hands are beginning to be arthritic, and when I'm squeezing half a dozen lemons for a recipe, it will save alot of stress and time. (It has a strainer built in to catch large pulp and seeds...I love products that show alot of thought went into them.)I also got the nice accessory box which is extra expense on smaller machines.

This machine is very quiet. Very powerful. All the standard shredders, slicers, etc. work very well. I like the fact that I got two slicers, one for thin and one for medium thin.
I had read in other reviews about the problem with processing liquids. I don't understand why this is, but I was relieved to see that there is a fill line on the outer bowl, so as long as you're paying attention, you shouldn't have trouble, not to mention how large the capacity of this machine is.
There was a learning curve. This machine is a bit more complicated to assemble and run than my other two. But after a half dozen uses, it's becoming second nature. Not a big deal.
So...yes, it's big. And if your counter space is at a premium, by all means, get a smaller one. It's certainly too large to be lifting in and out of a lower cabinet very often. That being said, though, I am glad I bought this model and expect to enjoy it for many years.

->Buy KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

For years now, I have had my eye on KitchenAid products, namely their prominent stand mixers. So when the need for a GOOD food processor became a reality for me, I first looked at KitchenAid, and not much further. In comparison to other professional-styled food processor, the KitchenAid has a solid feel, the base is weighted nicely and the components fit together very well.

Starting at the top, the lid is made from a thick, clear plastic and has a generously-sized feed tube. It fits on the bowl very well and locks into place securely. However, I have noticed while processing, the occasional liquid sometimes leaks out from the seam, but I have found this to be true of most any food processor if you put in too much liquid (solution... just don't processes as much liquid items at once, and if you must, switch to a blender). When locking the lid, you must place the lid with the tab to the left of the handle and spin it to the right. This took me some time to get used to, for I kept thinking I could spin the lid on from either direction. Not a deal breaker, I just had to get used to that, and in fact, I think it promotes a stronger final product. The same is true for locking down the bowl.

The food pusher separates into 2 pieces. There is a red plastic insert that twists off and comes out of the larger, clear plastic food pusher. Removing this red insert creates a smaller feed tube in the larger pusher which is handy for feeding smaller (thinner) items such as carrots or the like when you want greater control of how the food hits the slicing blade. On the other side of the large, clear plastic food pusher is a measuring cup offering measurement scales in ml (up to 100), oz (up to 4), pts (up to .2), and cups (up to 1/2). This is handy for making quick measurements when all your other measuring cups are not right at hand. In addition, the red, removable insert has a small hole in the bottom of it. This makes it ideal for slowly dripping oils or other liquids into your mixture when it is reinserted into the larger, clear plastic food pusher.

The bowl is AMAZING in how solid it feels. It locks onto the base with a quick spin to the right. The handle lines up on the center of the base and the bowl will no longer continue to turn once it is locked into place. Again, same as the lid, the bowl only locks on from one direction. The handle is the key for the locking mechanism for the lid-to-bowl and the bowl-to-base. Once the bowl is in place on the base and the lid is locked down to the bowl, there is a locking pin in the handle that engages and the bowl cannot be removed. Unlocking the lid will release the locking mechanism of the bowl from the base. There is a liquid level indicator mark on the bowl which you should heed in order to avoid that liquid leak from the seam of the lid. When cleaning the bowl, water sometimes has a tendency to get into the handle. This is the ONLY detraction I have come across with this item. You have to work a bit with some shaking to get the water out.

The blade inserts are VERY sharp!!! Handle with caution in and out of the food processor and in cleaning. The mini-bowl is a great add-on option for this already fantastic item. Other reviewers have mentioned that food sometimes falls over into the main bowl, but in my experience, that is an indication that you are trying to process too much in the mini-bowl. I use this for only very small amounts and for everything else, I use the main bowl... problem solved.

The base is again, very solid and well weighted. The button pad is completely covered so there is no chance of food leaking into the buttons. There is an On, Off, and Pulse button. I use the pulse button frequently as the engine is so powerful, you won't need extended food processing times as you might with other food processors to accomplish the same goal. Large rubber pad are found at the corners of the base to prevent sliding and movement when that big 700 watt motor fires up. And speaking of which, the motor on this unit is incredible. It is so powerful, yet it is like a whisper in comparison to the noise emission of other food processors I have used. You can actually talk on the phone and finish getting that recipe from Mom while processing your food. It is a delight to operate!!!

The accessory kit is generous and has a nice case that holds all your items together.

To conclude, I won't bore you with all the items I have processed in this KitchenAid 12-cup GOLIATH food processor, however, I will say that any job I have thrown at it, it makes "minced meat" out of!!! Bravo to KitchenAid for scoring an A+ with such a simple, yet delightful and highly functional kitchen tool that is sure to please the most demanding chef in each of us. A bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny!!!

After comparing the various food processors in store and online from the reviews my decision was very simple: I went with the KitchenAid over the Cuisinart. After having used it several times I am very happy with my purchase. First made a marinara and used the shredder for the carrots and that went so fast and smooth I was in disbelief. Then I reassembled it with the main blade and threw in the tomatoes, onion and garlic and everything was minced down to almost a puree status almost immediately with very little sound. A dead bang winner in my book.

Then I made fresh butter. Threw in the heavy cream and turned it on and within a few minutes the butter had separated from the liquid (or buttermilk). I was floored at how easy and fast everything went.

The unit itself is a decent weight and feels very sturdy, which tells me that it is a well made unit. The bowl and blades cleaned easily between my different projects, which is a bonus, especially since each on their own presents their own difficulties in cleaning in any situation. The extra pieces storage case is a nice addition and will help keep me organized.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this food processor. I also own their mixer and have not had a problem in the nearly 6 years that I have owned it, so I don't picture anything happening with this unit. A definite recommend.

5 stars.

Disclaimer: new to food processors -- no other exeperience..

We picked the KFP750WH based on internet reviews. A major reason to buy was the ability to knead bread. In practice, its not perfect and that's reasonable. Its not a high end stand mixer. We knead enough for one loaf at a time. We have to hold the mixer down to keep it from traveling. We also push the dough down once or twice during kneading to ensure homogeniety.

It turns out we like it a lot for food processing too.

Since I wrote the above, I tried a bread maker for the kneading function -- bad idea. This food processor is the best thing short of the stand mixer.

I bought this a week or two with the idea of making my own nut butters. I haven't gotten around to the nut butters yet, but I have made a few things so far.

1) Pizza dough - It says to stick to around 3 cups. My recipe was slightly over that and not only did it handle it perfectly but it mixed it so throughly and quickly, I was amazed. Much faster than my Kitchenaid Mixer.

2) Salad dressings. This works very well, though I used the big bowl when I should have used the small. I didn't think I would use the small bowl much but it's great. One handy feature when making salad dressings is that you can pour oil into one side of the plunger and it will drizzle into the bowl slowly. Very handy!

3) Chop veggies. This thing slices vegetables fast. I hadn't even grabbed the plunger yet and my pepper was already done! The blades are very sharp. I cut myself when washing it, so be very careful.

Everything with this unit is heavy and well-made. The included storage case is nice, but I agree that it should have a hinged lid, but that is a small matter compared to the way in which this product delivers. We get used to being disappointed by so many products that we invest in, so it's good to see someone come through for a change. I wish I had bought one sooner!

I didn't buy this product for baking, I just thought the dough blade was a plus. However after I bought it, I mainly use this processor for baking bread. It only takes a minute to make a bread dough (of course after this you need to ferment it). It's fantastic.
4-cup work bowl is a definitely plus but it is still too big to chop a very small amount such as a few carrots or several cloves of garlic unless you add some liquid to the bowl.

I've had this processor for about three months. On the first day, I decided to make bread, and the dough blade suddenly stuck to the machine. When I called customer service to help me figure out what I did wrong, they told me that occasionally, this processor's dough blade fuses to the machine. I couldn't even get the containers removed to pack up because everything was stuck together. Fortunately, the customer service rep was really nice and sent out a new one immediately. I received my second new processor, and tried to make cookies. This time, everything worked fine, and the machine is quiet. I can even talk on the phone when using this food processor. I'm just glad that they exchanged the first one so quickly!

->Best Price KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor, Onyx Black

A more accurate rating for this food processor, in my opinion, would be 4 and a half stars. It is truly a great machine. Sadly, this is my third food processor in 4 years, as I had two horrible experiences with other brands, before I finally bit the bullet and spent the cash on this one. I wish I had done that in the first place! I have used this processor for several applications and so far I am VERY pleased. It shreds cheese like a pro, chops veggies with ease, pulverizes nuts, is adept at making batters and doughs etc. It is a very powerful machine and can handle just about any task you throw at it. The smaller mixing bowl and blade attachment is very handy, too, and a welcome addition for those smaller jobs. Nobody likes having to wash a big bulky bowl for a little task like chopping a couple tablespoons of parsley. And I love the accessories case it comes with! Everything is neatly stored in one (somewhat) compact case for easy retrieval. The only downfalls to this machine (and why I felt I had to give it one less star) are the following:

1)It's gigantic size. This may be a non-issue for some people, but I have an older kitchen with lower cabinets. The machine is way too tall to fit under my cabinets. And even if it could fit, it's sheer bulk would probably prevent me from keeping it on the counter because it takes up very valuable counter space, another thing at a premium in my smaller, older kitchen. I am therefore forced to store mine in a cabinet, which takes away some of its convenience. Having to lug it out is not always a welcome chore.
2)As far as performance, my only complaint so far is that there is a significant delay when you stop the machine and when the actual blade stops rotating. This is an issue when making delicate pie doughs for example, because it makes it much easier to overprocess the dough, thus compromising its quality. I am trying to learn to compensate for this when processing pie dough, pulsing it fewer times than I normally would. But,the performance of this machine would be perfect if only the blade stopped rotating the second you turned it off.

Other than that, I whole-heartedly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a food processor. It's extra roomy size (though a pain physically) is a wonderful feature when preparing larger batches of things. And at a lower price than before, this machine is a steal.

I've had very good experience with KitchenAid products, and this one is no exception. It's well-designed, quiet, and very powerful, easily kneading a heavy wheat bread dough. The smaller bowl is the perfect size for making pesto or doing similar jobs. The bowl- and blade-locking mechanisms are well designed - intuitive to use, without any leaking or messing around. Comes apart and cleans easily. Feels very stable and sturdy.

Also, the accessories case is a nice touch, preventing me from cutting myself as I fumble around shelves or drawers looking for all the pieces(though I agree with the other reviewer, who said it would be nice if the case could be locked shut...I too am using the rubber band method). After years of using a cheapie and then a poorly designed Cuisinart, it's the difference between night and day. Definitely recommended.

We just got this food processor and have used it three times (juicing & chopping) in the three days we've had it. It's fantastic! The juicer attachment did not work as well as we would have liked. It only extracted some of the juice from our 6 lemons, so we had to use a manual reemer to complete the job. But since we will rarely use this processor for juicing, we don't mind. (We didn't buy it for the juicing attachment, but since it came with one, we decided to use it because we happened to be making lemon curd.) We chop a lot of broccoli for our dogs--one bunch a day. With our 11-yr-old Krups, we had to cut the broccoli into 1-inch pieces and could not chop the entire bunch at once. It took a couple of minutes to process. With the KitchenAid, we were able to cut 2-3-inch pieces and fit the entire bunch into the bowl all at once. Three pulses later, we had finely minced broccoli. This machine is POWERFUL.

It's also easy to clean. Can't wait to use it for slicing vebetables and grating cheeses.

After years of not having a food processor, finally broke down and bought this one. I'd made do with a stand mixer, blender, mortar and pestle, and knives. Not sure why I waited so long to buy one, but am very glad I did.

The 750 works as advertised. It has a powerful motor, the various cutting blades perform well.

The reasons for giving the product 4 stars instead of 5 are:

1. The lid does not seal very tightly so when processing liquids, there's a fair amount of leakage.

2. The mini-bowl is very handy and handles small amounts better than if they were put in the larger bowl; but, there is frequently some leakage into the main bowl.

These are minor issues and shouldn't discourage anyone from buying this machine. However, the new 760 model seems to have many more features for just a little bit more money. Before buying the 750, you should check to see if the 760 better meets what you need.

I am so pleased with this purchase. I looked high and low for a food processor that does everything since I have a small kitchen and try to keep appliances to a minimum. So far, I have only used a 2 of the blades to grate and chop and I have made batches of cookie dough in it. It does dough so well that I do not plan on getting a stand mixer anymore. Everything comes apart simply and is a breeze to clean. Noise is at a minimum, doesn't shake at all. Simple to use, simple to clean. My only problem with it is that it's a quarter of an inch too tall to put on my countertop under my overhead cabinets.
